COZY NEW ENGLAND FALL FAMILY TRIP | Berkshires, MA + Mystic, CT!

Berkshire in the fall - New England traveling

A family fall trip to the cozy Berkshires, MA & Mystic, CT

At the leaf-peeping peak of October, my family came from California to visit us in New York for our birthdays. Jonas & I knew we had to take them to a special place, the Berkshires of MA. The same place we have spent our birthday weekend the last 2 years in fact, because it just has that lovely New England charm!

I’d like to introduce you to my FAM-BAM five and have you come along with us on a cozy New England fall family trip!

The coziest places wrapped in colors are what makes the New England fall so perfect.

The Berkshires are such a beautiful area of New England and I was so glad to be able to share the charm of it with my family.  Stockbridge is just of the many postcard perfect main streets. In fact, you may recognize this famous main street as the home town of artist Norman Rockwell.

The Norman Rockwell Museum houses the largest collection of Rockwell’s art where you get a glimpse of America as it used to be in.

Many of his art pieces were produced for covers of the Saturday Evening Post magazine from the 1920s-1960s.

We also visited the Hancock Shaker village which is like a step back in time to the 1700s. Their simple communal way of living still lingers over the land like one of their traditional songs that pays tribute to their quest for making a little heaven on earth.

We are so grateful to have been born in October and have our birthday’s so close together. We’re so thankful my family could come to visit; seeing them only a couple times a year makes you truly treasure the time you have together and appreciate how only they can bring out a certain side of you. I’m so thankful we got to spend this time cozy fall time together for our birthdays and hope you enjoyed coming along too.
Bye For Now,
