Autumn treats require in many cases a lot of ingredients and time. It can sometimes be overwhelming especially when the fall feelings decide to suddenly embrace you with all its cozy elements. This cake is simple and easy, and if you have a can of pumpkin puree you might already have the rest of these common ingredients at home.

Autumn Pumpkin Cake Recipe – Simple and Easy for a Cozy Fall Afternoon.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup butter (melted and cooled)
4 large eggs
1 cup (or less) brown sugar
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
Optional: A handful of chopped-up walnuts

This is how easy it is made:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C), melt the butter so it has a little time to cool down. With the wrapping paper from the butter, use it to grease a 9×13 inch baking pan since it might have some grease left. (Eco Friendly $aving Tips.)

Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spice, in a large bowl.

In another bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, pumpkin, and the cooled butter until combined. Add the wet ingredients into the dry until a smooth batter takes shape. (If you like nuts, please stir them in as well.)

Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. But remember to keep your eyes on it since baking times vary from oven to oven.
It is done when a stick comes out clean.
